The software extension consists of two components, one is for partly automatic transmission via Bluetooth and installation help; the second is for identification of the location or exhibit in a museem via audio watermarking.

The partly automated transmission shall help people who are not so much familar with their mobile phones to transmit and install the software on their mobile phone or PDA. The identifacation of the position of the user in an exhibition or museum uses audio watermarking: Near the object of interest or in a exhibition room watermarked sound is played. The mobile phone records and analysis the embedded watermarking. The result of the analysis is at the moment a identification number of the exhibit or room and the related information is started. Later maybe also more textual or audio information related to the object could be embedded.
